1. Valentine - a double postcard, therefore, first cut it. We put the top page in warm water for 10-15 minutes so that it is well wet, then it is easy to remove the excess layer of paper.
2. We take out the picture from the water, thin it, that is, we separate the upper layer. Put it on a napkin to remove excess moisture. On top we also get wet with a napkin.
3. Carefully transfer the Valentine card to a file. We smear the front side with glue.
4. Turn the plate over. We carry out the so-called reverse decoupage. Press the file with the Valentine tightly to the surface of the plate, carefully smoothing it with your fingers and expelling air bubbles. Then we remove the file and wait until it dries.
5. Excess glue, until dry, wipe with a wet sponge or cloth.
6. Before applying acrylic paint, wipe the plate with liquid polish remover.
7. With yellow paint we make a frame around the heart. But we do not draw a line, but we press a brush with paint to a plate.
8. After the yellow paint has completely dried, we proceed to the design of the edges of the plate. We crumple a candy wrapper, put red paint on it and stamp it, but not tightly, but so that there is room for other colors.
9. While the paint is not completely dry, sprinkle with sparkles and leave to dry.
10. Similarly, we make stamps with white paint.
11. The third coat of paint is light yellow. We apply it to the sides of the plate with a candy wrapper. With the same color, paint over the Valentine's card.
12. The finish blue paint is evenly distributed with a sponge over the entire surface of the plate. We paint over two times. Let it dry completely. Next, apply varnish to the entire surface of the plate.
14. The decoupage is completed. Gift for Valentine's Day is ready!
