To make such a butterfly out of ribbons, you will need:
• Blue or blue satin ribbon 5 centimeters wide.
• White satin ribbon with a width of 5 centimeters.
• Glue gun.
• Two small beads.
• One large bead.
• Scissors.
• Fishing line.
• Candle.
The first step in creating Morpho will be the production of kanzashi petals, which we will then glue and form into wings.
Cut 24 squares from the blue ribbon (5 × 5 cm). Gently and carefully scorch the edges of the tape. Make sure that it does not catch fire, but only slightly melted.

And fold them as shown in the photo below. First connect the corners of the square to make a triangle.

Then, fold the same triangle two more times in half. You should have a classic kanzashi petal.

So that the petal does not fall apart, take it so that its edges are visible. Melt them and press them slightly with your fingers. Cut the excess fabric below and process it with fire. Such petals in the end you need to make twenty-two pieces.

When all the leaves are ready, you can begin to create the body. To do this, make two two-color petals. Fold the blue ribbon in half as in the previous version, then again in half. Also fold the white ribbon. Lay it on top of the blue ribbon. Continue to work as in the classic version.

Now form the wings of the butterfly. Take two blue petals and glue them together.

Glue another petal between them.

Six shamrocks will come in handy for us six pieces - three for one side and three for the other.

Next, glue the workpieces as shown in the photo. We need two such wings.

Glue two two-color petals. They will serve as a body for the butterfly and wing support.

Glue all the wings to the body.

Decorate the center with a bead, button, stone or rhinestone.

To make a mustache, take a fishing line and two beads. Cut two pieces of three centimeters from the fishing line. Lubricate its end with glue and put on a bead. Stick the antennae to the butterfly.

Such a butterfly can be used as a Christmas tree toy, brooches, jewelry for clothes and hair, or simply as a wonderful piece of furniture. On the back of the Morpho butterfly, attach a pin, and then you can wear it like a brooch. Or glue it to a crab hairpin. Then you will get a wonderful home-made hair ornament.

Try and practice, and then in creating such a butterfly, and many other things you simply will not have equal!
