Candy basket

A candy basket will be a great gift for a loved one. Flowers will never fade, and sweet contents can be eaten. An ordinary bouquet will quickly fade and leave no memories for itself, and a composition using the Sweet Design technique will delight its owner for a long time. To make it, you do not need super skills or complex materials. Everyone can make a candy basket.
Prepare the following materials:
- a basket;
- candies;
- Styrofoam;
- copper wire, stationery knife, scissors, toothpicks;
- glue gun;
- artificial flowers;
- corrugated paper;
- ribbons, beads, decor.
First you need to fill the basket with foam. Circle the bottom of the basket on the foam and use a clerical knife to cut a circle. Before filling the basket, be sure to wrap the base with corrugated paper in the tone of the basket so that the foam does not shine through the seams. Also close the top of the base.
Glue toothpicks to the “ponytails” of sweets.
Cut a rectangle from corrugated paper (focus on the size of the candy), fold it in half and smoothly cut the edges. Wrap the candy tightly, forming a small bud, and secure with wire.
To make the petals, you need to form blanks: cut a rectangle measuring 5 by 4 cm from paper (approximately). Make sure that the grooves of the paper are sure to go vertically. Then fold the workpiece in half and smoothly cut the edges.
Gently stretch the middle of the petal so that the petal is voluminous.
Glue the petals lapped together.
Lock the flower in the center of the basket.
Now you need to make the buds. Wrap the candy tightly to make a beautiful bud.
Take another piece and wrap the candy. The top edge should rise 3-4 mm above the previous one. Then fasten another petal.
Lock the buds around the flower.
Glue artificial flowers to a toothpick and fasten.
Further, according to the same scheme, we make and fasten flowers, buds.
To mask the spaces between the flowers, decorate the bottom row of flowers with golden ribbon loops.
Make a bow out of the tapes and mask the area of ​​attachment with a bead or decor.
Using hot glue we fasten the bow. Our candy basket is ready!
