Plastic bottles, freed from their own, in needlework become an excellent material for any basis. With their help, you can give shape, make a shape for a small volume, such as caskets, baskets, etc. On the basis of a plastic bottle, you can make several different baskets of flowers. For example, rose hips in a basket with a pen.
We will prepare the following materials and tools: a plastic bottle, green and pink yarn, a hook for knitting N4, a sharp knife, scissors, thermo-violet, a needle, a stapler.
Symbols hereinafter: vp - air loop, st.s. - double crochet st.b.s. - single crochet.

To make the base for the basket, we take a plastic bottle of a liter or one and a half liter volume. Cut off the neck with a sharp knife. In the lower part we make notches that will determine the depth of the future basket. Next we work with scissors. Cut along the contour of the side of the basket, leaving on the opposite sides of each other long segments perpendicular to the side of the basket. From them, then the handle of the basket is formed, so you need to leave them as long as possible.
The ends of the segments are connected and fastened with a stapler, then we wind several layers of adhesive tape to hide the metal bracket of the stapler.

Set to knitting. Let's start by tying the basket. With a thick crochet crochet from crochets, we knit a circle for the bottom. Try on the base of the bottle, adding columns. Having completed a sufficient number of rows so that the bottom is completely closed, stop adding loops and tie a plastic base on the sides, lifting the knit up. The last row should be flush with the side of the PET shape.

Next, we knit a strip of st.B.s., the width and length of which will allow us to hide the plastic handle, i.e. should be twice its width. We connect the strip on the handle, sew it along the entire length and sew it to the bottom of the basket.

Settled for leaves. There are knitting patterns of different shapes of leaves.

Let us dwell on the leaves knitted on a circle from a closed chain of air loops, which we tie around in a circle st.s. Then we knit the petiole and the pointed tip of the leaf. We knit 4 - 5 leaves according to the selected pattern. To play the colors, we use yarn of different shades of green, getting a thread in several additions.

The line for the flowers. We choose a twisted rose, which resembles a blooming terry dog rose, as a flower model for a basket. The production of such a rosehip flower is a twisting of a knit strip with the addition of loops.

We recruit a chain of VP not less than 45 pcs. (there should be an odd number of loops), add a loop to rotate knitting. If the yarn is chosen thick enough, such as Karachai acrylic, then the second row can immediately be made airy. If the yarn is thinner, then we knit the second row of art. with n in each loop of the bottom row.
The air row consists of an alternation of double crochet and vp: we knit the first three loops st.s.N. (for a denser core of the flower), then 2 vp, 2 st.s.
The next row is done with the addition of loops for volume: 2 tbsp n. in the two lower st.s. n., 4 st.s.s. in 2 vp bottom row.

We twist the resulting strip so that the last knitted row is on top and sew using a knitting needle and thread of the same yarn. Flowers, depending on their size and the size of the basket can be 3, 5.7.

For the top of the basket we knit a circle from any dense yarn, which will become the basis for attaching the bouquet. We sew it to the side of the knitted part of the basket, completely hiding the plastic base.

Putting the details together. Sew or glue with hot melt to the middle of the basket, first the leaves, then the flowers.

It remains to add small decorating details: either a few rhinestones in the form of a large dew, or a small butterfly or a ladybug. Your basket with flowers of rose hips is ready.
