In this review, the author shows how to make a universal mini-machine, with which you can cut not only glass bottles of any shape, but also cans.
The platform for the machine can be made of a metal plate, and for the manufacture of the rack, a section of a profile or round pipe is quite suitable.
If there is welding, then all the parts can simply be welded. If there is no welding - in this case, you can make a collapsible bottle cutter.
The author uses a piece of the channel as the base, and for the rack he took the usual round pipe. Ideally, use a piece of inch pipe with a thread on the end.
A glass cutter will also be required. The wooden handle will need to be replaced with a copper tube 30-40 mm long. On the reverse side, the author screws in a bolt, his hat must be cut off.
To fix the glass cutter inside the tube, you can simply rivet it. The author decided to go the simpler way, and "planted" the glass cutter on the glue.
The main stages of work
At the next stage, a bottle cutter rack should be made from a piece of pipe.
The author marks the places of future holes and drills them on a drilling machine in increments of 1.5 cm.
Please note that the diameter of the holes must match the diameter of the copper tube. After that, it will be necessary to make a hole in the channel under the inch pipe.
At the last stage, it remains only to clean the metal with a grinder and paint the parts. Then we proceed to the assembly of the device.
