In this review, the author shows how to make a round folding table made of wood with your own hands.
A folding table is perfect for hanging out in the country or outdoors, and will also optimize the space.
First of all, it will be necessary to cut the blanks from the boards, as well as glue (or buy ready-made) two shields for the manufacture of halves of the countertop.
For countertops, boards measuring 90x45 cm 18 mm thick are used. For the manufacture of table legs are used blanks measuring 92x7 cm and a thickness of 18 mm.
In addition, four blanks 53x7 cm and two blanks 66x7 cm 18 mm thick will be required. You will also need one round log with a diameter of 25 mm and a length of 54 cm.
The main stages of work
First of all, add two shields together, find the center and draw a circle. Then we cut out two halves of the countertop and process them on a milling machine.
The top edge of the table legs should be rounded. In the middle you need to drill holes. Then we connect the legs in pairs to the bolts.
We fasten the blanks 53x7 cm to the legs. Then we connect both pairs of legs using a wooden round timber. In the lower part we fasten the stitches (two blanks 66x7 cm).
At the last stage, it remains only to screw the halves of the countertop.
