When you need to bend a profile pipe with a certain radius, then this requires a profile bender. This home-made machine for the home workshop and garage can be assembled with your own hands from available materials.
You will need six case bearings, a steel round, from which you need to grind the shafts for a pipe bender, as well as a construction corner and bolts with nuts.
First of all, the master grinds lock washers and three shafts on the lathe: two side shafts and one central knurled. He has one long edge to secure the handle.
The main stages of work
After all three shafts are made, the master proceeds to make the bed. And for this, he first cuts off four pieces of the corner, which he then welds together to form a rectangular frame.
Since the central shaft is movable, it will be necessary to make fasteners for it (for this the master also uses pieces of corner). It is necessary to cut off four pieces of the corner, and then weld them in the central part of the bed.
