The garage is one of those secluded places where workshops are often arranged. To be able to work even in winter, it is extremely important to install a good insulated gate. Moreover, it is not necessary to buy them, you can do it yourself, not spending too much time.
First prepare the work surface. Then lay out the frame from the profile pipe exactly in size. At the joints of the profile, it is necessary to cut the pipes at an acute angle. After that, carefully weld the material together.
After welding, grind the welds. In the center of the resulting rectangle, you need to fix another profile pipe of a smaller section. In the same way we weld it, dividing the "shape" into two vertical halves.
The main stages of work
After welding the frame, you need to fill the resulting rectangle with the same size plywood sheets. Using a drill and nails, we fasten the sheets to the resulting metal visors around the perimeter. Next, we make a number of fastenings to the professional pipe, which is located in the center of the rectangle.
After that, we sheathe the future gate with a sheet of corrugated board, attaching it in a similar way. We take thin strips of galvanized sheet, connecting them with profile pipes around the perimeter.
We do the second leaf of the garage door in a similar way, but we divide it into two unequal parts - 55 and 65 centimeters, respectively. In the center of the wide part, we place one rectangle with a similar width, but smaller height - an opening for entry. We lay the pipe in 2 layers.
Inside this rectangle we make one more - it will be a gate. Fasten on one side of the loop. After that we cover the gate with plywood, corrugated board and galvanizing. Now that the gate is ready, you can install!
This design is simple, and at the same time effective. On its manufacture can save significantly. Moreover, the algorithm of work is very simple - even an inexperienced master will cope!
Please note that instead of a bulky padlock, we install a central lock from the car on the gate. You can open it remotely, which is very convenient!
The central lock, which is mounted on the inside of the gate, acts as a regular gate valve. At the end of the rod is fixed a piece of round bar with a diameter of 16 mm. It operates on the principle of the tongue of an ordinary castle.
When extending, the bar enters the hole pre-drilled in the gate frame. This blocks the input. The design is simple to disgrace. Moreover, it will not be easy for ordinary people to open or crack such a lock, because there is a tongue on the gate, but there is no keyhole for the key.
