If you bought a new automatic washing machine, then in order to properly connect it and prepare it for work, it is not at all necessary to call the plumbing. This work is easy to do on your own, strictly following the recommendations that are described in the instructions for the washing machine.
First of all, it is necessary to connect the drain hose of the washing machine to the drainage system. At the same time, note that in order to prevent self-draining, as well as to create a rupture of the jet, the end of the drain hose is raised to a height of at least 65 cm from the floor level.
In the event that the sewer pipe in the bathroom or in the kitchen is much lower than the recommended level, then it will need to be raised. Or, alternatively, you can use a check valve.
If you lower the drain hose below the recommended level, then during the washing process the water may drain out ahead of time.
Preparing the washing machine for work
After you figured out the sewage system, on the back of the machine you need to unscrew the mounting bolts that secure the drum. Four plastic plugs will need to be put in place of the mounting bolts.
Before turning on the washing machine, it will be necessary to check the supply hose for leaks. At the last stage of preparation, we expose automatic machines by level. And for this, you can use the usual bubble level.
