To make a simple mini crossbow with your own hands, you only need your imagination and a 3D pen with plastic (for the manufacture of this craft, it is best to use ABS plastic, which surpasses PLA plastic in strength characteristics).

The only thing to remember is to do the work in a well-ventilated area, as the ABS plastic has a distinct smell of burnt plastic. To "draw" a crossbow using a 3D pen, we will use standard 1.75 mm thick ABS threads.

The main stages of work

The first step is to determine the crossbow model. Turn on the imagination and draw an “image” on paper. If nothing good happens, then just download the ready-made template from the Internet and print it on the printer.

First, we “draw” with the 3D pen the main part of the crossbow with the stock and butt, then we outline the resulting part on paper and, like the first, we make the second half. Next, you will need to make a trigger - the trigger is attached between the two halves of the crossbow.

Next, we fasten all the parts with the help of a 3d-pen, and "draw" the lining to close the gap between the main parts. At the last stage, we make a groove for the arrow and the "shoulders" of the crossbow. As an arrow, you can use a rod with paste from a ballpoint pen, and for a bowstring we take an ordinary elastic band.
