For the convenience of working with a semi-automatic and automatic welding machine, which produces welding in the environment of cleaned gas, you can make a homemade trolley with a folding table. This design is equipped with a holder for a holder with a nozzle, as well as hooks for storing cables.
There are also places for both the welding machine with a cylinder and a separate shelf for various accessories that may be useful in the welding process. Such a homemade cart with a table is especially useful in small workshops with limited internal space.
The main stages of work
For the manufacture of a trolley with a folding table, profile pipes of square and rectangular section, as well as a steel corner, will be required. First of all, we determine the dimensions of the future design, after which we cut off workpieces of a suitable length on a miter saw or using an angle grinder.
Then we weld two rectangular frames (one from the profile, the second from the corner) and proceed to welding the main frame. Shelves for the welding machine and cylinder, as well as the surface of the working table are made of sheet metal with a thickness of 2-3 mm. Two swivel castors and two chamber wheels are welded to the base of the trolley.
In order for the welding table to unfold, two fasteners are used on the sides with bolts or studs with nuts. In general, the design turned out to be quite reliable and compact, but at the same time it is characterized by increased functionality.
