In this review we will tell and show how to make a solid leather case for multitool with a vertical suspension on a belt. This method of wearing a knife is considered one of the most common and convenient. Moreover, for the manufacture of a cover it is best to use vegetable tanned leather (for example, shabrake).
The main stages of work
We take a wooden block of rectangular shape (slightly larger in size than the knife in the folded position) with rounded edges, glue it to the base of MDF or plywood, and then tighten it with a prepared piece of leather.
After tightening the bar along the edges, we fix the skin with a stapler. Then slightly moisten the skin and leave for a while. Then we cut along the edges and separate from the base with a wooden block. Next, we prepare the second part of the cover and glue the two halves together, pre-painting them on both sides.
