Small wooden handmade candy cans will be a wonderful decoration of the kitchen interior. They can be used for serving a festive table, filled with sweets or other sweets. For the manufacture of vases, you need two planks of different colors: white and chocolate (for example, beech and wenge - you can use other combinations).
Stage 1
First of all, we expose the surface of the desktop of the band saw at the required angle, after which we cut out rings of 10 mm thick from the planks, after having previously glued a paper template with circles of different diameters on the planks, so as not to manually mark them with a compass. In the end, you should get five parts from each board.
Stage 2
Alternating rings of different colors, we assemble two cone-shaped vases - first for fitting, and then glue the parts together using any wood glue and gently fix them with clamps so that the rings do not move to the side.
Stage 3
After the glue has dried, you can proceed to the mechanical processing of the candy holders. We grind the inner side with a drill or manually, and the outer one with a belt grinder. We cover finished products with mineral oil.
