With this tool, you can quickly drill a hole in the bars or other wooden workpieces strictly in the center. This is very convenient and practical, since you do not have to constantly measure the width of the bar with a tape measure and make marks with a pencil.
Manufacturing process
From the profile square pipe, it is necessary to cut off with a grinder two segments 12 cm long, in which you need to drill through holes on both sides at a distance of about 5-6 mm from the edge.
Then, holes of the same diameter must be drilled in two narrow steel plates - they will be connected together with sections of profile pipes using bolts and nuts in such a way that as a result a square construction is obtained.
Then, in the center of the narrow plates, one hole must be made. You will also need a 3 cm wide plate with pre-drilled through holes (two at the edges and one in the center), which must be screwed on top of the narrow plates.
Practical application
The very last hole will need to be made in the wide plate in the center. Now the handmade homemade tool is ready for use. For greater aesthetics, it can be sanded and painted.
