To do this, you need to make a simple device and prepare the bolt itself.
Let's start with the manufacture of the device. It will be necessary to cut four blanks from a metal plate with a thickness of at least 10 mm.
In the blanks, it will be necessary to drill mounting holes, and in one of the plates to make grooves.
Then we collect the main part of the device. One of the plates is fixed, the second is movable, it can move back and forth.
The main stages of work
The next step will require one bearing and a pair of knurled rollers.
We drill holes in the plates and install the rollers with a bearing. Between them we insert a bolt on which it is necessary to make a knurling, and we tighten a vice.
To make the knurled bolt, his hat needs to be made round, without edges. We clamp the bolt in the drill or screwdriver chuck and grind the edges on a grinding machine.
Before inserting the bolt between the rollers and the bearing, two nuts must be screwed onto it. Then we insert the end head into the drill and turn the bolt.
