A “highlight” of any summer cottage or home garden can be a home-made bonfire bowl that will gather around itself family members, relatives, friends and relatives on cool days or in the evenings.
And to make it very simple. You will need a metal barrel with a volume of 200 liters and pieces of the corner from which the frame for installing the bowl will be made.
Also, a bonfire bowl can be used as a barbecue - you will only need to make a suitable grid or just make slits for skewers.
The main stages of work
First of all, it will be necessary to cut the barrel in half in the longitudinal direction. The edges at the cut point need to be filed with metal or sanded with a petal wheel to remove burrs.
At the next stage, it will be necessary to cut the blanks of the required length from the corner. First, a rectangular frame is welded to the size of the barrel. Welds are grinded.
Then, four legs must be welded to the frame, and between them are the staples (for greater structural rigidity). After that, the author welds a jumper along the length of the barrel.
Then it remains only to clean the surface of the angle grinder and paint it with heat-resistant paint. The advantage of this design is mobility - it can be easily transferred to any place on a summer cottage.
