An alarm in a car is, of course, good, but additional funds against theft will not be superfluous. In this case, the author suggests making a brake pedal lock. For this, metal scraps are used.
First of all, using a grinder or on a cutting machine, you will need to cut off a steel strip 120 mm wide. One blank is 10 cm, the other three are 5 cm each.
Next, you need to weld together two pieces at a right angle: 10 cm and 5 cm wide. The remaining two narrow pieces must also be welded at an angle of 90 degrees. And in one of the plates you need to drill a hole.
The main stages of work
The next step is to weld the resulting two parts together. How to dock them correctly, see the photo below.
In a piece of strip 10 cm wide, two holes need to be drilled on a drilling machine. After that, two steel bars are inserted into them and scalded.
Then it remains only to polish the welds, strip the metal and paint the fixture. For painting, the author uses spray paint in a spray can.
