To dry underwear and socks on the balcony, you can make a compact dryer from improvised materials. For this homemade product you will need wooden blocks and aluminum tubes. At the same time, a clothes dryer can be made in different sizes - depending on the free area on the balcony.
A feature of this home-made dryer is its compact size and the possibility of folding it. Due to this, it will not constantly interfere with the passage. Well, and yet - this is a budget-made home-made product, since the necessary materials for its manufacture can be found in almost any workshop.
We cut two identical pieces from a wooden block in which it will be necessary to make grooves (using a chisel or on a circular saw). You will also need to prepare two long bars that will be inserted into the selected grooves.
The main stages of work
In long wooden bars we drill three blind holes - for the installation of aluminum tubes on which laundered laundry will be dried. The holes themselves can be drilled with a pen drill. It will also be necessary to make mounting holes in the blanks.
At the next stage of work, we connect the workpieces together - for this you can use dowels made of a round stick of suitable diameter. After that, cut off three identical pieces of an aluminum tube of the required length, and assemble the entire structure.
