In this review, the author shows how you can make a cube tank for water from a polyethylene sleeve with your own hands. Such a tank is useful in the country - water can be used for irrigation.

To make such a tank, you need a piece of plastic film 1.5 meters long. Moreover, it is advisable to buy the film as thick as possible, since thin films often come across with marriage.

First of all, using a manual drill, you need to drill holes in the soil under the racks 50-60 cm deep. As racks, you can use both metal pipes and wooden posts (if, for example, you need to reduce the cost of the project).

Please note that the distance between the racks should be strictly 75 cm. It has been experimentally determined that this is the most optimal distance for installing racks, and you must adhere to it.

The main stages of work

At the next stage, you will need to dig a groove in a circle with a depth of about 5-6 cm. This is necessary in order to dig in the netting - so that its edge does not tear the film.

Then we stretch the netting, screwing it to the posts using wire. On the ground, it is desirable to lay a piece of linoleum, which will protect the bottom of the tank from "uninvited guests" in the form of rodents.

After that, using a conventional iron, it will be necessary to solder the plastic sleeve around the edges. In this case, the author heats the film through paper (but it is better to use fabric). Remember to leave a hole for the plastic pipe.

Tank installation

At the next stage, insert the plastic pipe into the sleeve, and fix it with metal clamps (two pieces will be enough). The film must first be folded with an accordion. Be sure to put a knee on the end of the pipe, which is inside the tank.

Next, we lay a plastic sleeve between the racks, and you need to do this carefully so as not to accidentally tear the film. At this stage, it is extremely important to align the sleeve so that nothing bends anywhere.

First, pour about 40-50 liters of water, and then raise the edges of the film to the very top, fasten the mesh net back, and fill the tank with water completely.
