The original lampshade for a lamp that fits into the interior, decorated in a rustic style or Loft style, can be made from ordinary round bars. From a tool for work, you need a welding machine, a grinder with a cutting disc, as well as home-made tools for cold forging.

The main stages of work

First of all, it is necessary to cut the bars of the desired length - for this we use an angle grinder (in total, nine workpieces of the same length will be required). Each of the prepared rods needs to be bent in three places: the first corner - at 90 degrees, the next two - at 45 degrees.

It is advisable to use a bending machine or other device for this purpose, so that the workpieces are the same size. In principle, you can use a conventional vise, but in this case, the rods will have to be heated with a gas burner.

You will also need to bend two rings of different diameters: large and small. At the next stage, we weld all the blanks together, and as a result we get the original lampshade for the bulb. In the end, it remains only to insert the cartridge with the lamp inside, and hang it at the required height.

If desired, the finished lampshade can be covered with fabric to enhance the decorative visual effect. The step-by-step process of manufacturing a lampshade from steel bars, see the video on the site.
